"MAY YOU ALWAYS BE THE ONE WHO NOTICES THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE THE LIGHT POUR THROUGH, AND MAY THEY ALWAYS REMIND YOU: THERE IS MORE TO LIFE AND THERE IS MORE TO YOU." - MORGAN HARPER NICHOLS
Something I always like to tell my clients is to enjoy the moment. Forget about me. Escape reality for a minute and just enjoy your time. We're all about the candid moments over here. I'll guide you along the way to take the pressure off but I like to keep the moment as authentic as I can. I like to throw out pose ideas and promps for you to work off of. And during a wedding day, I will admit that there are times when a posed image is necessary to get the shot, take wedding party photos for example, those are mostly all posed by me. But this also helps to get through those parts of the day with more efficiency.
My goal is to deliver to you timeless imagery that stands the test of time. True to color, light and airy, creamy skin tones. Classy and elegant.
Currently, I shoot mirrorless with the Canon EOS R6. My go to lens is my Canon 35mm f1.4 ii or my Canon RF 24-70mm f2.8. I also have and enjoy the Sigma 50mm f1.8 and the Canon 85mm f1.8.
A firm believer in that all of the little details, make for some of the most important images. All of the little things that you put so much thought and effort into but maybe missed amid the chaos that a wedding day can so often bring. All of these seemingly small details that shape and define your entire day. So important.
This is a photo I took of a beach in Hawaii near where my husband and I got married. Makua Beach on Oahu. If an elopement wedding is for you, keep me in your mind. I'll come with you, wherever you want to go! I am always up for an adventure.
I love anything that takes me back in time a bit. Black and white images do this for me. I like to add some grain for a film vibe to the shot. I could edit a whole gallery in grainy black and white, honestly. Not to worry though, because with every b+w photo in your gallery, there is another just like it in color!
10 year plan? Hopefully living somewhere warm and beautiful. Where the air doesn't hurt my face in the deep and sometimes grueling depths of a Minnesota winter.
Manifesting all the glowy and warm sessions in 2022!
